Rush Service

Last-minute gift, concierge quality.

Hardcover photo book in 7–10 days. Same curation, same design care, same paper and binding as the standard book. Just compressed into a tighter schedule, with one revision round instead of two. ₱2,000 rush add-on.

Sometimes the deadline finds you. The wedding is in two weeks and you forgot the gift. The flight home for the lola's 80th leaves Sunday. The despedida dinner was scheduled later than you remembered. The memorial is next month and you want a book ready for the family. Moments rush processing exists for these moments — when you need a hardcover photo book made well, on a deadline, without compromising what makes it worth giving.

When rush makes sense

Most rush projects we take on fall into a handful of patterns. The wedding gift you forgot to commission until the invitation arrived two weeks before the date. The OFW homecoming where the flight got booked earlier than expected and the family book needs to be ready when the parent arrives. The milestone birthday party that crept up on you. The memorial book where the family wants something printed before the 40th day or before Undas. The despedida dinner for a sibling moving abroad next week. The anniversary you miscalculated by three weeks.

The common thread: the project carries enough weight that you do not want to skip it or substitute a generic gift, but the calendar has compressed faster than you expected. Rush exists for exactly this situation.

Rush processing turnaround

Standard turnaround at Moments is 3–4 weeks for Kwento (the 8" × 8" hardcover, up to 40 pages) and 4–5 weeks for Alaala (the 11" × 8.5", up to 80 pages), measured from final photo submission to delivered book. Rush brings this down to 7–10 days. Pamana rush (the 12" × 12", up to 100 pages) is possible but requires a custom conversation since the larger book has more design pages — please discuss before booking.

The 7–10 day window includes the design phase, your proof review, the print run, hardcover binding, and Metro Manila delivery. Provincial delivery to Cebu, Davao, or other regions adds 2–5 days of courier transit on top of the build. International shipping adds 7–14 days. If your deadline is tight enough that even rush will not make it, tell us anyway — sometimes we can still find a way.

"Rush is faster, not lower-quality. The same paper, the same binding, the same editorial care — just compressed into a tighter schedule with one revision round instead of two."

What we do not compromise on

The decisions about what to skip on a rush project, and what to keep, are deliberate. We keep the print quality at the same standard — 200gsm matte or gloss paper, hardcover image-wrap binding, the same archival-grade production. We keep the curation work — we still review your full photo set and make the editorial selections rather than dump everything into the book. We keep the design care — pages are still individually composed, not auto-laid-out by a template.

What we compress: revision cycles. A standard project allows one to two rounds of proof revision; rush allows one. The decisive proof review is the bottleneck on the timeline, so rush requires you to read the proof carefully and respond promptly. We also have less buffer for last-minute scope changes — the photo set you submit at intake is essentially the photo set we work with.

What rush requires from you

The rush schedule depends on a tight loop on your end as well as ours. Three things matter:

Fast photo submission. The clock starts when your photos arrive in our shared Google Drive folder, not when you contact us. The faster you upload everything, the faster we start curating.

Decisive proof approval. When we send you the digital proof, review it within 24 hours and respond with either approval or a single consolidated set of revisions. The longer the proof sits, the tighter the back-end timeline becomes.

Payment on confirmation. Rush projects require the full payment (or at minimum the standard 50% deposit) confirmed before we begin work. We do not start curating without confirmed booking, and that is doubly true for rush.

How to start a rush order

Send us a message on Viber or email — the two fastest ways to reach us. Tell us: the deadline you are working to, the kind of book you have in mind (occasion, recipient, approximate page count), and roughly how many photos you have to work with. We will reply within a few hours during business hours with a yes-or-no on capacity, a quote, and a timeline. From confirmation to delivered book, plan 7–10 days for Metro Manila, 10–14 days for provincial.

Rush capacity is finite

We are a small concierge studio, not a print volume operation. Rush slots are limited and we sometimes have to decline rush projects when we are at capacity. Contact us as early as you can — even a day or two of lead time matters. If we cannot accommodate, we will tell you immediately rather than string you along.

Frequently Asked Questions — Rush

With Moments rush processing, a hardcover photo book takes 7–10 days from final photo submission to delivered book in Metro Manila. Rush is available for Kwento (8" × 8", up to 40 pages) and Alaala (11" × 8.5", up to 80 pages) packages, subject to current capacity. The rush add-on is ₱2,000 on top of the base package price. Contact us first to confirm availability before committing to a deadline.

Rush processing is a ₱2,000 add-on to the base package. Total cost for rush: Kwento ₱3,500 + ₱2,000 rush = ₱5,500. Alaala ₱6,500 + ₱2,000 rush = ₱8,500. Pamana rush requires a custom conversation since the larger 12" × 12" book has more design pages — please discuss before booking. Provincial shipping outside Metro Manila is at LBC or JRS courier rates on top of the package.

No. The print quality, paper weight, hardcover binding, and design care are identical to a standard-turnaround book. Rush only compresses the schedule — we work the project intensively rather than spreading the design and revision cycles across three or four weeks. The single difference is that rush projects allow only one revision round (rather than the standard one or two) since there is no time for multiple back-and-forth cycles.
