Photo Book Cebu: for the families that come home for Sinulog.

Hardcover photo books for Cebuano families — Mactan weddings at Shangri-La and Plantation Bay, Sinulog reunion books, OFW homecomings to Talisay and Mandaue, family albums shipped from Manila to Lahug, Banilad, and the Cebu coast.

Cebu has a particular relationship with family memory. Sinulog every January pulls Cebuanos home from across the country and across the world — the diaspora returns to the Santo Niño, the family compound fills up for ten days, the photos are taken, and then everyone scatters again until the next year. The Cebu wedding industry circuit at Mactan brings couples and families to Plantation Bay, Shangri-La Mactan, Marco Polo, and Crimson Mactan. The result is a city whose photo book commissions are some of the most narratively rich we receive — books that document homecomings, devotion, weddings against the sea, and the multi-generation Cebuano clans who have anchored the city for a century.

Moments ships hardcover photo books to Cebu City, Mandaue, Lapu-Lapu, Talisay, and anywhere in Cebu province from our Quezon City studio. Provincial shipping at LBC or JRS rates — typically 2–4 days transit on top of the standard build turnaround. Bank transfer accepted. The whole project handled remotely through Google Drive, email, and Viber.

The Cebuano clients we work with

Wedding photo books from Mactan resort weddings — Shangri-La Mactan, Plantation Bay, Crimson, Movenpick, the Pacific Cebu Resort. Wedding books for couples married at the Banilad churches in Cebu City — the Sacred Heart, the Redemptorist Church, the Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral. Couples whose receptions were held at Marco Polo Plaza, Radisson Blu, or at private beach properties along the Mactan coast.

Sinulog and reunion photo books — the genre that makes Cebu commissions distinctive. Cebuano families whose extended relatives return home every year for Sinulog often commission a book documenting the gathering: photos of the family at the Santo Niño procession, at the family compound for lunch, at the various homecoming parties spread across ten days. Some families do this annually. Others wait until a major milestone — a patriarch's 80th birthday during Sinulog week, or the year a child returned from abroad after a long absence.

And OFW homecoming books. Cebu has one of the highest concentrations of overseas Filipino workers in the country, and the photo book that documents a long-awaited homecoming — after five, ten, or fifteen years abroad — is one of the most emotionally resonant projects we take on. Our OFW family photo book gift guide goes deeper into the patterns we see in these projects.

"Cebuano photo books often hold three things at once — the Santo Niño, the sea, and the family that comes back to both."

The Mactan wedding photo book pattern

Mactan weddings are a particular genre, and we have made enough of them to know the patterns. The photographer's deliverable is usually a Dropbox or Google Drive folder of 1,500 to 3,000 high-resolution images. The couple looks at it once, then never opens it again. The hardcover photo book is what survives.

What we do for Mactan wedding clients: we take the photographer's full set, curate down to the 80–100 strongest images that tell the wedding's narrative arc — preparation, ceremony, reception, the afternoon photos against the Mactan sunset — and design a hardcover album. The default treatment is editorial and quiet — lots of white space, photos given room to breathe, no busy graphic elements. We can adapt for couples who want something warmer or more decorative.

Our complete wedding photo book guide walks through the design and curation choices in detail. The Mactan version of the wedding book is one of the most-requested variants we make.

Shipping to Cebu: turnaround & logistics

Standard build turnaround is the same as for Metro Manila clients — Kwento 3–4 weeks, Alaala 4–5 weeks, Pamana 5–6 weeks from final photo submission. On top of that, add Cebu transit: typically 2–4 days for LBC, 3–5 days for JRS. We ship in a sturdy outer box with the hardcover wrapped in protective packaging, and we provide tracking information so you can monitor the shipment from Manila to your Cebu address.

Cebu shipping & rush

Provincial shipping to Cebu adds 2–5 days to the build turnaround at LBC or JRS rates. Rush processing for Kwento and Alaala is available for an add-on of ₱2,000 — useful if your Cebu wedding album, Sinulog reunion book, or OFW homecoming book has a hard deadline. Send us a message early, especially for January Sinulog deliveries.

The Cebuano-in-Manila ordering pattern

One of the most common patterns we see: a Cebuano client living in Manila — for work, for school, or because the spouse's job moved them — orders a photo book intended for the parents or grandparents back in Cebu. The Manila buyer handles the project entirely. We coordinate the photo gathering through a shared Google Drive folder, often pulling from photos already taken at Sinulog or at the most recent homecoming. The Manila client reviews the proof. The finished book ships directly to the parents' Cebu address — Lahug, Banilad, Mandaue, Talisay, or further out to Carcar or Bogo if the family is from outside the city.

The recipient never knows the book is coming until it arrives. The reaction comes back to Manila later that day on the family group chat. Send us a message if this is the project you have in mind — we do this kind of coordination every month.

Frequently Asked Questions — Cebu

Yes. We ship to Cebu City, Mandaue, Lapu-Lapu (Mactan), Talisay, and anywhere in Cebu province at LBC or JRS provincial rates. Transit time from Quezon City to Cebu City is typically 2–4 days for LBC, 3–5 days for JRS, on top of the standard build turnaround. The book ships in a sturdy outer box with the hardcover wrapped in protective packaging.

Yes. Cebu wedding books are one of our most-frequent commissions from Cebuano clients — especially weddings at Marco Polo Plaza Cebu, Shangri-La Mactan, Plantation Bay, the Cebu beach resorts on Mactan, and the Banilad churches in Cebu City. Couples typically send us their photographer's full Dropbox or Google Drive folder, we curate down to the strongest narrative selection, and we design the wedding album. The finished book ships to your Cebu address.

Sinulog falls on the third Sunday of January. For a book documenting the previous year's Sinulog or annual family reunion, order in October or November to comfortably hit the next January gathering. The standard turnaround is 4–6 weeks plus 2–4 days Cebu transit, so working backwards from your target date in mid-January, October is the safe ordering window. Rush processing is available for tighter timelines.

Yes. Many of our Cebuano clients living in Manila order this way — the book is a gift, and we ship it directly to the parents' address in Cebu rather than to the Manila buyer. The Manila client handles the design proof and approval; the parents in Cebu open the package on a Tuesday morning without knowing it was coming. Tell us the recipient address when you confirm the design proof.
